Are your labret tops compatible with other labret backs?
No, our labrets tops are only compatible with our labret backs and the labrets are sold as whole pieces. They work on a secure push fit system, simply pull apart and push back together.
Do your items contain nickel?
None of the items in our shop contain nickel. All of the silver and gold we use is made within the EU, under the Nickel Directive. This is a law that prohibits the use of nickel in jewellery and other metals that come in to contact with a persons skin.
How long will my order take to ship?
All of the items in our shop are handmade-to-order by Alice alone. We do not keep stock of any items as there are too many possible metal/gauge/diameter combinations, therefore, when an order comes in it immediately joins the back of the queue of orders which go out in batches every week. If you need an item for a specific date, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we will do our very best to accommodate it!
The best way to care for your jewellery is to give it a rub with a polishing cloth, which you will receive with your order. To minimise how much you have to clean it, try and keep your jewellery free from perfume, lotions and make up. When not being worn, store your jewellery in a jewellery box, or the packaging it came in.
My jewellery has developed a dark mark on it, how can I get rid of it?
All silver and gold is subject to tarnish which is the discolouration some people develop on their jewellery. Tarnish occurs due to a chemical reaction between the metal and sulphur in the environment which is caused by exposure to moisture and oxygen. It is completely normal and very easy to fix! All you need is a handy silver polishing cloth to buff away the discolouration and your jewellery will be sparkly and new again.
I just placed an order but the address on it is incorrect, can I change it?
